Zephyr Cove
Folks know a good thing when looking for homes in Zephyr Cove, Lake Tahoe Nevada. Ever since its inception in 1862, Zephyr Cove has been one of the most popular Resort and Beach areas in all of Lake Tahoe. From its beginning it was “the destination†for the rich and famous, especially those from San Francisco and Hollywood, with its special setting, its Lodge & Restaurant, numerous log cabins of all sizes, and its mile+ long sandy beach for swimming and boat tours of the lake via the Tahoe Queen Stern-wheeler and Woodwind catamaran. Across Hwy 50 is a large park-like Tent and RV campground with very and nice facilities. Today this is especially a favorite playground of teens and young adults, who now enjoy a wide variety of boat craft which are readily available at the resort. [see pictures] Adjacent to the south are 82 homes many of original Tahoe style but also several of modern Tahoe looks. At least half have very special views of the lake and western Sierra Mountains, and many are on the waterfront with sandy beach and boat moorings. Included among their locations are playgrounds, football & soccer fields and tennis courts. [see pictures].
