Fresh snow brings out the ski enthusiasts

This week there were 10 NEW LISTINGS, down from last week’s 12.  The lowest new listing has an asking price of $149,000 for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo with 870 square feet, located at 1281 Bonanza #16. The highest priced new listing is 729 El Dorado, a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with 2208 square feet and an asking price of $799,000. The median new listing price is $349,500.

There were 3 new ESCROWS this week, down from last week’s 5. The lowest priced home that went into escrow is 703 Tahoe Island, a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1429 square foot home in the Tahoe Island neighborhood listed at $245,000. The highest priced new escrow is $356,250 for 1138 Apache in Meyers. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1294 square feet of living space. The median price for the new escrows is $279,999 with an average time on the market of 92 days.

There were 8 RECORDED SALES this week, up from last week’s 6. The lowest recorded sale is $260,000 for 573 Otomites, a 3 bedroom, 1.75 bath with 1104 square feet located in North Upper Truckee. The highest recorded sale is $945,000 for 1392 Bonita, a 6 bedroom, 5 bath home with 3562 square feet. This home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and 2873 square feet.  The median sale price for this week was $457,500 with an average time on the market (including the escrow period) of 232 days.
